Dido
Dido is a ghost town located in Walker County, Texas, just northwest of Huntsville (the county seat) and west of Riverside.
It is named after the Queen of Carthage from mythology.
A 1907 postal map indicates the presence of a post office, suggesting
it was an active community at that time, though no detailed history of
its founding, peak period, or decline is widely documented.
Today, Dido has a population of zero and no remaining structures or notable remnants mentioned.
It should not be confused with the better-known ghost town of the same name in Tarrant County.
